Marketing with Natural SEO Step 2 of 3

This is the second blog post about natural SEO marketing and it’s going to be a good one. Last week we covered starting a blog to gain natural market share of the first page on Google.  This week is going to cover how to spread the word about your blog and how to get re-blogged.

Step 2:

It’s time to Stumble, Digg, Buzz and remind everyone about your blog post and your website.

Stumble Upon:

If you don’t already have an account here then start one. Then after you have stumbled all you blog post and website. Make sure to tag your post with relevant keywords and then submit it. I’ve found many of great sites that I love because of Stumble Upon and yours might be on e of those that day.

Digg:

Now it’s time to Digg your stories. Digg is an online crowdsourced news site that has the ability to promote news stories on the front page that can make your site very popular if it ever gets there. First you have to Digg your stories, make sure you put then in relevant categories and wait for the Digg community to view your story. Remember Digg is a two way street the more you Digg and become part of the Digg community the better the chance that your story will get read.

Reason:

These sites are designed to help the average consumer easily find content that they are interested in. This will also increase the amount of content on search engines when you are searched. This also offers a new way for other people to discover your website with out searching for you.

Next week we will blog the last step to create a natural SEO marketing for your website or blog.

Marketing with Natural SEO Step 1 of 3

I know what you are thinking “Oh no not another blog post about SEO” but this is a little different, see I hate SEO marketers.

SEO marketers are like the used car salesmen of the Internet, they slap a fresh coat of paint on your website, offer you deals that seem to go to be true, load it full of keywords, offer add-on/specials that you don’t need and spam your links all over the web. All you feel afterwards in ripped off while the smell of cheap after-shave still lingers in the air.

Now don’t get me wrong some marketers that call them selves SEO marketers are not really that way and they do offer some really good services: but this is a small amount of them.

What I offer is you spend one hour a day building a natural SEO marketing campaign.

This can be done with just a few simple steps that will not only build a solid page rank but will also create a community instead of a faceless brand.

Step 1:

Create a blog and I’m not just talking about the one on your website the just shots out press releases. I’m talking about starting a REAL blog on Blogger, tumblr or posterous these are the easiest to work no matter the skill level.

Now blog about things that interest you and your company, they don’t have two be long and it can even be a re-post or comments about other post. When you are writing your blog make sure you use your company name, website url’s, Facebook url’s and twitter url’s.

Remember to tag every post you make with relevant tags including your company name your name and the random just because keyword.

Reason:

The reason for doing this is, these bloging services do great in search; my blog for Social Box Media now shows up more in search then my website. www.socialboxmedia.com

This creates a face for outsiders to look in on and creates trust between the consumer and company.

Make sure you put your heart and soul into this or your blog cause readers will see right through you and stop reading altogether.

Step 2 is coming next week so be sure to check back often.
